INTERNSHIPS

 

A high school work-study program designed for students who want an opportunity to get work experience in the non-profit world. They will get opportunities to work with at-risk youth in our after-school program, run the cash register, learn hospitality, and entrepreneur skills in our Full Circle Thrift Store and much more. We are looking for high school students who are enthusiastic self-starters, work independently, have excellent organizational and communication skills, and have a heart for their community.

Internships Opportunities:

  • Full Circle Thrift Store: Cash register, organization, cleaning, sales, opportunity to learn retail in the plaza of Orange

  • Youth Centers of Orange: Work with students at our After-school and summer programs at The Youth Centers of Orange. Many of these students are living below the poverty line. You can make a difference by being a counselor in our summer program, mentoring or tutoring

Support The HUB OC Intern Program

The Hub OC Intern Program is a high school work-study program offering opportunities to get work experience in the non-profit world. These include:

  • Working with at-risk youth in our after-school program

  • Learning hospitality, and entrepreneurial skills in our Full Circle Thrift Store

  • And much more..

We have many at-risk teens, kids living in below the poverty line, and foster kids that would love to be a part of a paid summer Intern Program.

Your donation will: Give these students the opportunity to learn valuable work skills, receive a paycheck and also be trained on how to manage their money.

If you are interested in donating to help students get a paid internship please complete the form on this page. Consider donating up to $500 per student intern to help support stipends for these young people during the 2021 Summer Program. 

Study after study show that high school students who have work experience as a teenager are significantly more likely to succeed after high school. They are more likely to graduate college and more likely to find success in the work world. We want to give high school students an incredible opportunity to succeed.
