Good News Multiplication

Patron 3 was a young woman in her early 30s that came to the HRC in search of basic needs. She hung out consistently on our site for weeks as the staff and volunteers got to know her story more. As she began to trust the people at the HRC, she listened to their advice on how a 90 day detox program would be the best next step for her to change the trajectory of her life. She eventually agreed and was admitted to The Rock Detox Center for their 90 day program.

On September 20th, 2022 she came on site to the HRC having successfully completed the 90 day detox program. She came back to tell the HRC team thank you. She was sober, had a job, and gained an apartment.

Alongside her wonderful news, she had also brought a friend to the HRC site who she introduced to staff and volunteers. She brought her because her friend also was seeking aid in addiction recovery and saw the huge shift in the life of Patron 3.

The HRC staff was able to get Patron 3’s friend admitted to the same detox program that same day.
